What is a condiment, or dressing, and how is it different from our Balsamic Vinegar of Modena?

At Borgo del Balsamico, both are produced in much the same way, with the same ingredients and aging process, except that condiments have a lower acidity than Balsamic Vinegar of Modena.

Since there is some controversy around how condiments are produced and regulated, we decided to adopt our own Ethical Standard of high-quality production and raw material selection.

Abiding by our own quality production commitment, we have branched out and developed our very own sweet/sour products, including very successful novelty condiments produced by adding ingredients never found in Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, such as fresh fruit juices and truffle.
Our sweet-and-sour balsamic condiments have a range of different flavours: fresh, smooth or fruited, depending on how you want to use them in the kitchen.

Only natural ingredients from our region of Emilia-Romagna or Italy are used. Our production facility is based exclusively in the province of Reggio Emilia.

Borgo condiments are all aged.
