The idea:
Balsamic becomes an ingredient that illuminates every dish, from Mediterranean to international cuisine.
A “double-sided” product, sour and sweet, that goes with everything.

2006 - Il Tinello is born:
A young balsamic, a funky line designed to bring everyone closer to this world.
Distinctive colours: yellow, orange and red. From here, the Borgo conquers the world.

2013 - Unity is strength.
From an idea of Cristina, the Unici group was born: excellent craftsmanship united by the same passion.
From Ursini to Mattei, Mancini to Savini, La Via del Te and La Nicchia.
A collaboration based on quality and mutual esteem.

2014 - The Intelligent Single Dose.
A small gesture, a big revolution: a bag that can be opened with one hand, without waste.
Designed entirely in Italy and containing our best-loved “Reds”.

2015 - Art meets taste.
Satin, an aged condiment dressed in romance, was born:
an English rose, taken from a drawing by Redoutè, a tribute to beauty!

2015 - Among the 100 Italians in the “Beautiful Italy”
The Republic publishes a special distributed at Expo “Beautiful Italy” selecting the Borgo among 100 Italian brands
that make Italy unique in the world.

2017 - A dream that becomes hospitality.
Le Dimore del Borgo: a charming place for those who love beauty, history and Italian gardens.
An immersive experience, a multi-sensory journey.

2021 - Women of food.
Silvia and Cristina selected by Cook of Corriere della Sera among the most influential women in food.
An award that celebrates passion and dedication.

2021 - Satin Dalia Edition
A new flower blossoms for our iconic condiment:
Satin takes on a new elegance with Dalia, illustrated by Steffi Bauer.
The Munich-based artist discovered the Borgo years ago, during a stay in our Residences, and now signs a reinterpretation of it.

2024 - Balsamic Chocolate.
Over the years, collaborations with chocolate artisans have been sealed, and after the Balsamic Chocolate-Covered Figs,
the Spantorrone and pralines, come the delicious Dragrees.

2024 - Twenty years of beauty and passion.
To celebrate our anniversary, a special bottle decorated by Steffi Bauer.
