In April 2022, the Borgo of Balsamic vinegar is featured in the magazine “Ancient House” thanks to article by Antonio Bianchi!
The article tells a bit about our history and all the beauties inside our Borgo, here is an excerpt from the full article (which you can read in the PDF in the link at the end of the article):
Balsamico's Borgo, located in Botteghe di Albinea (RE), offers a unique hospitality experience in the heart of the Reggio Emilia hills. This historic mansion, listed by the Belle Arti, is set in a 20,000 square metre park, enriched by an Italian-style garden with more than 120 varieties of roses and about 50 types of peonies. The estate also includes Spergola and Lambrusco vineyards, underlining the deep connection with local wine and food traditions.
Since 2017, Cristina and Silvia Crotti, daughters of the founder Renzo, have opened the doors of Borgo to hospitality, offering seven evocative rooms, without television, to encourage a stay in the name of silence, slowness and space. Guests can immerse themselves in the tranquillity of the Emilian countryside, discovering the production of balsamic vinegar and enjoying the beauty of the surrounding landscape.
Balsamico's Borgo represents a perfect fusion of tradition and hospitality, offering a serene refuge for those wishing to explore the cultural and gastronomic roots of Emilia-Romagna.
