The chocolate-covered dried fig from Cilento has always been a delicious and much appreciated product during the Christmas season. The classic recipe calls for it with almonds and a chocolate coating. Master Cataruozzolo, who creates and produces Spantorrone del Borgo del Balsamico every year (with balsamic vinegar, of course), together with Cristina Crotti has come up with a marvellous fig soaked in the red label dressing, finished with a dark chocolate covering.
The packaging, specially designed to become a mouth-watering cadeaux, is an elegant rigid cardboard cylinder like all the products in the Balsamic Borgo's SWEET line
