The villa and the 18th-century residence stand in a centuries-old park with 19th-century architecture.
The centuries-old park
The boxwood hedge develops patterns according to the ancient art of topping.
The redundant beds of flowers and ornamental plants draw plays of colour during spring and summer.
Rare and monumental plants such as Sofras and Sequoias, together with Oaks, Limes and Horse Chestnuts planted in the mid-19th century give us great pleasure every day.
Antique collector's roses dot the flowerbeds and during the month of May the espaliers and pergolas become therapeutic pathways thanks to their perturbing fragrances.
Flowering plants and shrubs sprinkle the garden in a sometimes naturally 'dishevelled' order: hundreds of rose plants live undisturbed (English, antique, sarmentose, Chinese and botanical) hydrangeas, but also dahlias and peonies.
The Italian garden frames the greenhouse and the small private swimming pool immersed in the antique fruit orchard.
Each season offers different pictures, colours and heady scents.
The garden is inhabited by birds, squirrels, hares and roe deer that occasionally drop by to say hello.
We love to share these beauties with our guests every day of the year.
