The Borgo in the pages of the German Bike & Travel Magazin

Bike & Travel Magazin, one of Germany's most authoritative magazines dedicated to cycle tourism and slow travel, has published in its next issue, 1/2026, a special report entitled “Einmal den Stiefel hinunterrollen”(Going down the boot), a’adventure on two wheels across Italy following in the footsteps of Goethe.

Among the recommended stops is a very special one in the heart of Emilia: The Balsamic Borgo. In the article, the authors enthusiastically recount the welcome they received at our relais and the beauty of the ancient vinegar cellar:

“The Borgo of Balsamic Vinegar: the family property with the excellent vinegar cellar is managed by two sisters, who lovingly care for the restored historic residence and the enchanted garden. Guests can take part in guided tours and tastings in the traditional vinegar cellar. Breakfast, served in the former barn, includes local delicacies enriched with balsamic vinegar.”

A new confirmation that the Borgo of Balsamic is much more than a place to visit: it is an experience to be lived among authentic flavours, charming hospitality and lush nature.
