Dove, the monthly travel and lifestyle magazine, dedicates a special issue to Emilia and The Borgo of Balsamic!
Have you already read the February issue of Dove?
The monthly travel magazine dedicates its cover to Bologna and, inside, a long article to the whole of Emilia, entitled 'Cappelletti and Tortellini, what a tasty fight'.
It is truly a tasty, indeed a very tasty, struggle that can be found in all the dishes of our land, a true food valley, where gastronomic excellence has ancient roots, which young and talented chefs and producers are carrying forward with totally contemporary style and energy.
And between cappelletti and tortellini, balsamic vinegar, the traditional one from Reggio Emilia PDO and also Modena PGI, cannot be missing.
In the chapter 'Sleeping between vinegar cellars and B&Bs', Dove recounts The Borgo del Balsamico, “the realm of Cristina and Silvia Crotti, who have turned the ancient art of balsamic vinegar, practised by their father, into a real business. Small, but exclusive, and with a completely new aesthetic approach in the industry.”
“What makes this place special - continues Rita Bertazzoni, journalist at Dove - is the chance to enjoy an authentic sensory experience: you can visit the ancient vinegar cellar in the attic, with barrels and vats dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries, you can have tastings and, since a couple of years, you can also stay in a magical place, full of history and silence.”
We are of course talking about our beautiful Residences of Borgowhich offer a truly unique opportunity: that of sleeping in a vinegar cellar, in a rustic or 18th-century farmhouse, surrounded by an Italian-style garden with centuries-old trees of great beauty, just a few kilometres from cities of art such as Parma, Reggio Emilia, Modena and the Ferrari Museum.
On Dove you will find a true homage to Emilia, but also a valuable guide to places of taste and beauty, of which we are very proud to be a part.
